About

I’m a 63 year-old singer/songwriter, musician, producer, poet, photographer, painter, wannabe interior-designer and, of course, a writer. I live in London.

I happen to be gay, but I am not ‘a queen’.

I have recently completed ‘My Unplanned Obsolescence’, my autobiography, and published it as an autoBLOGography on WordPress .

Please scroll down and read Chapter 1 first, or click directly into each chapter below. Look out for hyperlinks to the songs as well – they should hopefully open in another window or tab (they do on my MAC). It all starts, strangely enough, with Chapter 1.

The album of the book is called ‘Who Is Thom Topham?’ I sing 19 songs I have written, or co-written, that relate to the narrative and help put everything in focus, along with my photographs.

The songs are available to download on Reverb Nation and if you become a fan you get exclusive free downloads.

You can also stream them on Sound Cloud.

Also check out ‘Sex N’ Drugs N’ Sausage Rolls’, another autobiographical multimedia extravaganza  by my friend and colleague Steve Swindells. Well, actually, I’m his alter-ego.
